The Delta cleats are made specifically to work with Equinox, Soul Cycle and Peloton bikes. My one complain is that they could be as light as my Lake cycling shoes, but those shoes cost 3 times the amount of my tomasso cycling shoes which are great for my classes.

In my experience the higher skilled teachers would start out with a good warmup and end with a strong climax. This was my favorite choice with my Auntie when I was just getting started.

Your second choice is The Pursuit Class: This is a touch more competitive because your metrics are shown for everyone to see, and you are trying to out race one another when riding. It’s fun for those that like competing with one another.

Your third choice is The Cycle Power Class. This is more focused on hills and inclines. This is great for me as an alternate to outside riding in the Bay area because there is a focus on adjusting the power and incline throughout the class.

Do you need your own cycling shoes for equinox?

Wearing cycling shoes for equinox is very worth it and you should bring your own cycling shoes. Equinox gives you shoe cages if you have tennis-shoes, though you will not be nearly as agile and your muscles are not as effective when you are riding with cages.

Cycling shoes are one of the easiest ways to make your muscles more engaged when riding, and helping you to be the most efficient rider. You will also see more efficient gains in your ability from the class because no amount of energy is lost when you are pedalling – as you are connected to the bicycle.
