tommaso Cycling Shoes Review [for Peloton]

My Auntie and Uncle have dual Pelotons in their Exercise room which is incredibly cute. I am very jealous and am hoping to find love like that one day. For the last couple of months my auntie has been inviting me over to ride the second Peloton when she wants to sneak in extra workouts and though it may be good to do a tommaso cycling shoes review.

She said something about summer is coming, and toning her quads or something for her husband. I respect it, and she knows that I typically am an outdoor rider so she thought that having me around may push her to ride a little harder (Unbeknownst to her that most of my rides are in Zone 1-2)

The one problem with having an aunt that wants to ride with you so often is that you need to get either new cleats, or new cycling shoes specific for Pelotons. I decided to opt for a new pair of shoes to leave at their home, so I got tommaso Cycling Shoes with Delta Cleats for the Peloton. I loved my shoes and now am doing a tommaso Cycling Shoes Review of the overall brand after my experience.

In this post, I am going to go over the highs and lows (there are not many lows) of the tommaso shoe brand. I will touch on their general level of comfort in comparison to other Lake cycling shoes for wide feet that I own. I will go over the benefits of brands like tommaso that make shoes at reasonable prices, and some of the drawbacks (not many). By the end of this post, you should have a good understanding of tommaso Cycling Shoes, and why you would want to purchase their shoes – because I sure like them.

What do I like about tommaso? The brand of tommaso is accessible to all. If you are looking for a cycling shoe for your Peloton that works well, has a great fit and will aid your foot stroke from top to bottom throughout the course of spin, then this is the shoe for you. For the price of what you are spending, you are getting a high quality shoe with premium level closures. I was very happy when I got my tommaso Stradas because not only have they been reliable to me the last couple of months, but they also are starting to feel more comfortable as they break in over time.

How does the sizing feel?

The size from what I notice when I put them on is true to what has been said online. They run a touch large. This is not large enough to need to size one half size shoe up, but expect there to be more room in the shoe. This is a welcome change from many other cycling shoe brand sizes that tend to run true or a touch smaller to size. The tommaso Strada’s are also made for wide feet so I have been very happy with that choice of the extra room available in the shoe.

Closure System & Upper

One of the main reasons why I’m happy with tommaso as a brand is that they gave all options for closure systems based off of the shoe. I personally am a fan of the quick lace system which gives me a more secure feeling when riding the bike. Once going from lace up shoes in other sports to a BOA system, I found myself struggling to use normal tennis shoes again. The secure feeling that you get from a BOA system with the tommaso Strada cycling shoes are secure all around to the touch.

What also makes me happy is how breathable the upper is. I’m falling in love with how light the shoe feels and when I am riding, it really does feel like a second skin on my body. For $99, you truly are getting your money’s worth and this is a high quality shoe with absolutely zero setbacks.

What are others saying about them?

I was looking around the net to see what others are saying and if there is any room for growth with the shoe. From what I am seeing, it is a general understanding that these shoes hit the mark with their price. For a standard out of the box shoe that will work with Peloton, they are fantastic. They run a touch wide in the toe box although they are not “wide” shoes officially, so those with wide feet tend to elect to work with these shoes.

Conclusion

tommaso Cycling shoes review very well. They are great shoes for the price that you are paying. The shoes are comfortable, keep you secure in the pedals and are great for Pelotons when using Delta cleats. I recommend the BOA quick lace, but many people are enjoying the use of the ratchet and the Velcro security for the feet.
