PEdALED Cycling Clothing Review and Tech Specs
You may not know a lot about the PEdALED Cycling Clothing Brand, but you should. All of their gear is sleek, beautiful and tailored to fit and feel comfortable for endurance and distance cyclists around the world. After getting some gear we absolutely knew a PEdALED cycling clothing review would need to be in the works.
We noticed that there were plenty of people asking about their clothing, and I just happened to get some in the mail to share my experience with a PEdALED cycling clothing review from my first click on their site to getting my clothing in the mail. (Did I mention that the shipping took 4 days from Italy to San Francisco?)

Where is PEdALED from?
PEdALED was originally founded in Tokyo, Japan. Their founder comes from the fashion and design space and you can feel that energy in the clothing. I am a huge fan of one color when I ride which is why I went with the Essential Line, and even with the supposedly boring one-color choice, the bib and Jersey pops. Sleek comes to mind when I put it on. But we’ll see what others think when I ride in it for the first time.
What was my experience when buying a kit from PEdALED.com?
I have had some pretty frustrating experiences before with customer service when trying to get a bike part replaced from one other Italian brand that I will not name – so it left a sour taste in my mouth. But, what I do know is that saying of “the rotten apple spoils the bunch” does not apply. I made it a point to try again and know that perhaps it was just that specific brand that I had a frustrating experience with.
I did my own research, and although I couldn’t figure out how to dial out to call them (Italy country code on their website) I sent them an email asking about the shipping policy. They politely replied to let me know that it was on the website, but also it’s free shipping for a purchase of $150 – or 1 bib through DHL. That was helpful, but what was most important to me was that I could get ahold of someone in case something happened during my shipping – or if I thought the chamois wasn’t soft enough.
What did I think of the Kit?
“in case something happened during my shipping”
– Me
Reality: Did I mention the shipping across The Atlantic Ocean took 4 days total click-to-door ?
“or if I thought the chamois wasn’t soft enough”
– Me
Reality: Well I was wrong. So the Chamois is about as soft as, well, it’s just really soft.
It’s also, and I’ve used this word before, sleek. There is a certain shine that comes to the jersey that I am enjoying that I am not seeing in my other jersey’s. I am almost afraid to ride these in the rain. One other thing that I have noticed is that the straps are very soft and easy on the shoulders with the bib. Overall, it just looks amazing – and has me thinking about my next go-around with the Odyssey line and a Jary Jacket. They look great for when I go on my next winter tour whereas the Essential Line feel better for a race, Saturday ride or frankly when you just want to feel faster. I don’t really know if they will make me faster though – that just goes with pedaling more.

Materials
The materials of the majority of PEdALED brand apparel is typically a mix of Polyester, Polyamide and Wool or Merino wool. In my experience, it’s very soft, comfortable, and nice to the touch. Around the shoulders it doesn’t feel like it is tugging at you and stretches in the area that you need it to. One complaint that I had about another jersey is that the neck line digs in a touch whereas The Essential Jersey does not at all for me.
What are other people saying about PEdALED?
From what I have read online, here is a sum-up of all that I have found to supplement my own thoughts:
- Fit: The fit for their kits are race & pro fits. This means that if you want to have a more relaxed, club fit, order one size up from what you will typically wear. For the most part, they fit true to size.
- Comfort: Similar to my own view, research is showing that their clothing overall is incredibly comfortable, soft and like that of any top tier cycling clothing brand.
- Customer Service: Their customer service is a well oiled machine and any returns, or needs to get in contact is very easy whether it be through phone or by email.
Conclusion
Is PEdALED cycling clothing brand the next big thing? In this PEdALED cycling clothing review, I see it as an excellent niche player that has selected and fine tuned its place amongst many big players. Those that purchase and choose to train with PEdALED cycling clothing are extremely happy with their choice. I also am very happy with my choice and have had a lot of fun riding with my new kit.
